Ingredients:
500 gm split gram flour
400 gm ghee
500 gm sugar
150 gm unsweetened khoya
2 tbsp milk
1/2 tbsp cardamom powder
2 tbsp dry fruits
1/2 tsp nutmeg power
1 tbsp charoli
Method:
-In a bowl, add two tbsp of milk and ghee, microwave it for one minute.
-Take another bowl, add the above mixture of milk + ghee to the split gram flour mix it well and then sieve it with the help of fine mesh sieve.
-Take a kadahi, heat the remaining amount of ghee to it add the above strained split gram flour and roast it untill it turns light brown on a slow flame. When it turns light brown take of the flame and add grated unsweetened khoya to it. Mix it up.
-Take a saucepan add sugar and water that covers sugar, bring it to boil. Make one string sugar syrup.
Add above prepared sugar syrup into the mixture of flour add nutmeg powder, cardamom powder and some dry fruits of your choice. Give it a good mix and leave it aside for 4 to 5 minutes. If it hardens add 2 tbsp of milk.
-Pour the above mixture into the already greased mould, garnish it with charoli and make a cubes when it sets. Serve it cool or microwave it for 10 to 15 seconds.
