Farali Tart
Ingredients
For crust
1/2 amranth flour
1 tbsp oil
1 small boiled potato
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1/8 tsp turmeric
Salt as per taste
For filling
2 tbsp tomato puree
1 chopped green chili
1/2 tsp grated ginger
1/4 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1/8 turmeric powder
Salt as per taste
1 boiled potato
1 tsp fresh cream
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp chopped coriander
1 tbsp chopped red, yellow and green capsicum
Method
Take flour in a bowl, add all the spices and oil and mix well, then add boiled mashed potato, mix well, add water as required and make the dough.
Make a slightly thick circle and put it in the tart mold and press then cut off the excess dough from the top.
Preheat the oven at 180°C. Bake the prepared tart for 15-20 minutes.
Heat oil in a saucepan, add cumin and tomato puree and cook on low heat for 3-4 minutes, then add chilli, ginger and cook for 3-4 minutes, then add all spices and sugar, mix well and turn off the flame.
In a bowl take boiled potatoes and mashed then add fresh cream and pepper powder, coriander and salt and mix well.
Now add the prepared tomato puree mixture in the baked tart and spread it. Then add the prepared potato mixture on it and spread. Then sprinkle a little bit of chaat masala on it. Garnish with chopped capsicum and grill it for 3-4 minutes and serve hot.
