Sugar Free Baked Ghujiya
Ingredients
For filling
1/4 cup khoya
2 tbsp finnally chopped mix dryfruits
2-3 tbsp sugar free powder
2 tbsp date paste or dried dates powder
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/2 tsp poppy seeds
2 tbsp desiccated coconut
For outer layer
1 cup all-purpose flour
2-3 tbsp ghee
Pinch of salt
Water as required
Method
Roast the khoya on low heat for 2-3 minutes and when it cools down, add all the other ingredients and mix well.
Take flour in a bowl, add enough ghee and salt, mix well, add water as needed and make a stiff dough.
Preheat the oven at 170°. Take a large portion of the prepared dough and roll it thin.With a cookie cutter cut small pieces with the help of a cookie cutter.. Put the prepared filling in it, apply water on the edge and put the other piece on top and press it slightly and make a design with a fork. In this way prepare all the ghujiya.
Arrange the prepared Ghujiya in a baking tray, give it a milk wash and bake for 20-25 minutes or until slightly brown. After it is baked, take it out and apply butter on top. Enjoy Baked Sugar Free Ghujiya.
